Privacy
The short version. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies. It has no forms. The only personal data involved is what any web host sees when you visit, and what you send us if you write to us.
Who is responsible
Salimehmed Niyazi (Sammy), the independent creator of 01, is responsible for the personal data handled through this website and its contact email. 01 is currently an individual project, not a registered company. When you visit
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical request data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare describes its processing, retention and international transfer safeguards in its privacy policy. I do not use this data to track individual visitors.
The interactive parts of the home page (logging a set, the card preview, the scanner, the themes) run only in your browser. Nothing you type or tap there is stored or sent anywhere.
When you write to us
If you email hello@the01.app for support or sammy@the01.app for personal contact, I use your address, message and any attachments to respond and handle your request. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Email is hosted through Apple iCloud Mail; Apple describes its processing and international safeguards in its privacy information. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any necessary follow-up, or longer where a legal obligation or claim requires it. You can ask for deletion at any time; I will explain any reason that prevents it.
The app
The 01 app is not available yet. It will have its own privacy policy, published here before launch, covering exactly what the app's Your data screen shows: what stays on your iPhone, what syncs to your 01 account only if you choose it, and how to export or delete everything.
Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Have it corrected or erased.
- Restrict or object to how we use it.
- Receive it in a portable format where that right applies.
Write to sammy@the01.app; requests are normally answered within one month. If the law permits an extension because a request is complex or there are several requests, you will be told within that first month. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in Bulgaria the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg), or the one where you live.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
